CASE STUDY 01 · MARGO RUBBER PRODUCTS
Case Study 01: Beating Engine-Bay Heat.
We are a precision rubber manufacturer in Nashik, India, ISO 9001:2015 certified, with 60+ active customers, an average relationship of more than ten years, and 95% repeat orders.
Our first documented case: an engine-cover insulator bush failing years early on a Tier-1 Indian SUV platform — why it failed, and the compound change that fixes it. The customer is not named; the engineering is real.

Engine-Cover Insulator Bush: AEM to FKM
A material upgrade on a high-volume automotive part, in four parts: what failed, why it failed, what we specified, and where it stands today.
CHALLENGE
A 24-Month Part Failing at Six
Rubber insulator bushes on the engine cover of a Tier-1 Indian SUV OEM's diesel platforms were hardening and cracking at around six months in service, against a 24-month requirement. The OEM listed it among its top ten problem parts.

ROOT CAUSE
Engine-Bay Heat Beyond the Compound
BS6 Phase 2 engines run hotter under the cover. Engine-bay temperatures were consistently above 200 °C, while the AEM (Vamac Ultra HT) compound in use is rated to 160 °C continuous and 175 °C peak. The part was not defective — the compound had been outpaced by the engine.
>200 °C
Sustained engine-bay temperature vs. ~175 °C rating
COMPONENT SPECIFIED
Moving the Bush to FKM
We specified an FKM (Viton-class) compound rated for 200–220 °C continuous service and resistant to hot oil mist, moulded to the existing bush drawing so the mating parts stay unchanged.
200–220 °C
FKM continuous service rating
STATUS
Proposed, With the Data Behind It
The FKM upgrade has been put to the customer with the full technical and commercial case. We will publish the measured service-life result here when validation closes — the outcome, whatever it is, not a forecast.

03 · EXISTING TRUST PROOF
In the Meantime
Case studies are one form of evidence. Our certification scope, our compound data and our delivery record are available now — these are the signals buyers typically verify before a first order.
CERTIFICATIONS
ISO 9001:2015 & Quality Approach
Our quality management system is third-party certified — certificate 09111526A, Integral Certification Ltd, valid to 21 February 2027, scope: rubber moulded components. Our quality philosophy is not a document, it is a process: from incoming raw material inspection to final dimensional verification, every step is logged and traceable.

04 · FIRST PARTNER INVITATION
AN HONEST INVITATION
Be Our First Documented Partner.
If you place a trial order with us, we will publish a full case study on this page — with your approval — that documents the process from specification to delivery. No embellishment. No invented outcomes.
We are not trying to manufacture credibility we have not earned. The work is twenty years old; the write-up is not. We are asking for the chance to show our working in full.
