Rubber Seals & Components for Pumps and Valves, Manufactured in India
Precision sealing components that keep fluid-handling systems leak-free — flange gaskets, shaft seals, O-rings and diaphragms moulded to your drawing at our ISO 9001:2015 facility in Nashik, India.
COMPONENTS WE SUPPLY FOR PUMPS & VALVES
Engineered to Spec, Not to Catalogue
We don’t stock generic parts. Each component is produced against your drawing or an OEM sample — compound, hardness and geometry matched to the medium and the duty point rather than picked from a catalogue.

Gaskets

Bellows & Boots
Protective boots for valve stems, actuator rods and exposed spindles

Bushes & Bushings
Pivot and linkage bushes for valve actuators and pump baseplates

Anti-Vibration Mounts
Bonded mounts for pump skids, motor bases and packaged sets

Extruded Profiles & Cord
O-ring cord and vulcanised joined rings for large-diameter housing joints
WHERE OUR COMPONENTS ARE USED
Built into fluid-handling equipment.
Centrifugal pumps
Rotary shaft seals, casing gaskets and moulded wear components produced to your drawing, matched to the duty point and the medium.
Diaphragm & peristaltic pumps
Moulded diaphragms and extruded silicone tubing, produced against controlled drawing revisions.
Valve bodies & seats
O-rings and seat profiles for gate, ball, butterfly and control valves across process duty. Stem boots for exposed spindles.
Metering & instrumentation
Precision small-bore seals and gaskets for meters, sensors and instrumentation housings.
BUILT FOR PUMPS & VALVES CONDITIONS
Sealing chosen by medium, not by catalogue.
Fluid handling covers everything from potable water to aggressive process chemistry. The compound is selected for the medium in contact and the service temperature, then the geometry is matched to your housing.
Media compatibility
EPDM to +140 °C for water and steam, NBR to +120 °C for oils, FKM to +250 °C for aggressive chemistry. Selection is driven by your medium, not by stock availability. EPDM must not be used in petroleum service.
Dynamic sealing
Rotary lip seals and dynamic O-rings specified for shaft speed and surface finish, not dimension alone. Send the shaft finish with the drawing — it is the most common cause of premature lip-seal failure and it is rarely on the enquiry.
Temperature range
Compounds across the full service envelope: silicone from −60 °C, EPDM from −40 °C, FKM to +250 °C — sub-zero ambient through to sustained high-temperature process duty.
Abrasive slurry
Natural rubber has the best abrasion resistance of the eight compounds we mix, and we mould it to your drawing for slurry-duty seals and wear components. We supply both: components moulded to drawing, and rubber sheet lining for casings, sumps and pipework in the same compounds.
CUSTOM ENGINEERING
We match your pump spec, not the other way around.
Margo operates dedicated tooling capability for custom rubber components. Send us your OEM drawing, an existing part, or the equipment make and model — we reverse-engineer and produce to your specification.
- OEM drawing and sample matching
- Custom mould tooling in-house
- Compound selection by application
- Pre-production sample approval process
- Long-run production with consistent batch quality

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions from pump and valve buyers.
Can you produce diaphragms to our drawing?
Yes. Diaphragms are moulded against your controlled drawing revision, with the compound selected for the medium in contact and the duty expected. We do not publish a cycle figure — we qualify against your stroke, working pressure and target cycle life, and have samples tested at a named laboratory. Send the fabric reinforcement specification with the drawing if the part is reinforced — it changes the tooling and the cure.
Which compound suits potable water service?
EPDM is the usual choice for potable water and steam. Potable-water approval is a compound-level approval held by the compound supplier — the common schemes are WRAS in the UK, NSF/ANSI 61 in North America and KTW-BWGL in Germany. Tell us which scheme your market requires and we will confirm what is available; we do not hold these approvals ourselves.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. Quantity is priced against the part and its tooling — tell us the part and the volume and we will quote it. Existing tooling ships in three to four weeks ex-works Nashik, or two weeks express where we have confirmed capacity; a new part adds the tooling lead time, quoted per part. Prototype within 48 to 72 hours of an approved drawing.
Do you supply impeller wear components and pump lining?
Yes to both. Moulded to drawing — wear covers, impeller facings and slurry-duty seals — and rubber sheet lining for casings, sumps and pipework, in natural rubber, which has the best abrasion resistance of the eight compounds we mix. Send the geometry and the duty, and tell us whether you need the lining supplied cut or supplied and fitted.
What certifications does Margo hold?
Margo Rubber Products holds ISO 9001:2015, certificate 09111526A, issued by Integral Certification Ltd and valid to 21 February 2027. We are actively upgrading our quality management system to IATF 16949:2016, with certification targeted by the end of 2026, and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification targeted for 2027. Material test reports and batch certificates are issued with every shipment.
Ready to specify pump components from the Nashik plant?
Send the drawing, an existing part, or the pump or valve make and model — with the medium, the service temperature and, for a shaft seal, the shaft finish. Our engineering team responds within 48 hours with a compound and hardness recommendation, dimensional confirmation and a quotation.
