Silicone & Rubber Components for Medical Devices, Manufactured in India
Clean-room-compatible rubber components for diagnostic and laboratory equipment, moulded in biocompatible silicone at our ISO 9001:2015 facility in Nashik, India.
COMPONENTS WE SUPPLY FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
Engineered to Spec, Not to Catalogue
We don’t stock generic parts. Each component is produced against your drawing or an OEM sample — compound, hardness and geometry matched to the fluid path and the sterilisation cycle rather than picked from a catalogue.

O-Rings
Fluid-path and static seals for analysers, sample handling and connector assemblies
- Biocompatible silicone (VMQ) as standard
- AS568 and ISO 3601 sizes
- Cut-to-print available
- −60 to +220 °C — clears autoclave at 121 to 134 °C

Gaskets
Housing, closure and instrument panel gaskets in biocompatible silicone

Bellows & Boots
Protective bellows and covers for actuated mechanisms and sample probes

Diaphragms
Valve and metering-pump diaphragms produced against controlled drawing revisions

Extruded Tubing & Profiles
Silicone tubing for peristaltic and metering pump sets, cut to length

Grommets
Cable and tube pass-through seals for instrument housings and panels

Pads, Stoppers & Caps
Instrument feet, closures, stoppers and bench isolation pads
WHERE OUR COMPONENTS ARE USED
Built into diagnostic and laboratory equipment.
Diagnostic instrumentation
Fluid-path seals and gaskets for analysers and sample-handling equipment, in biocompatible silicone assessed to ISO 10993.
Peristaltic & metering pumps
Extruded silicone tubing for pump sets, and moulded diaphragms produced against controlled drawing revisions.
Laboratory equipment
Housing gaskets, closures, instrument feet and vibration isolation for benchtop instrumentation.
Fluid handling assemblies
Valve diaphragms and connector seals in biocompatible silicone.
BUILT FOR MEDICAL DEVICES CONDITIONS
Compounds chosen for the fluid path.
Medical and laboratory equipment places specific demands on the materials in the fluid path. Compound selection is driven by biocompatibility requirements, sterilisation method and service temperature.
Biocompatible silicone
Biocompatible silicone compounds for fluid-path and patient-adjacent components, assessed to ISO 10993. Tell us which parts of the standard your device requires and we will confirm what the compound supplier can evidence.
Sterilisation tolerance
Silicone holds −60 to +220 °C, which clears autoclave and steam at 121 to 134 °C with headroom. Tell us if the cycle is gamma or ethylene oxide instead — the method changes which compound is viable.
Low compression set
Seal geometry and hardness chosen to hold sealing force across repeated assembly and cleaning cycles. Compression set measured to ASTM D395 Method B, which we run in-house.
Clean handling
Clean-room-compatible handling and packaging available on request for sensitive assemblies.
CUSTOM ENGINEERING
We match your device spec, not the other way around.
Margo operates dedicated tooling capability for custom rubber components. Send us your OEM drawing, an existing part, or the equipment make and model — we reverse-engineer and produce to your specification.
- OEM drawing and sample matching
- Custom mould tooling in-house
- Compound selection by application
- Pre-production sample approval process
- Long-run production with consistent batch quality

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions from device manufacturers.
Do you hold FDA or ISO 13485 approval?
Margo Rubber Products holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, certificate 09111526A. We are working toward ISO 13485 certification, targeted for 2027. We are not FDA registered. We supply biocompatible silicone components as a moulding capability; regulatory responsibility for the finished device remains with the manufacturer, and we provide the material certificates, batch records and drawing-revision documentation your device file requires.
Which compounds are available for fluid-path components?
Biocompatible silicone (VMQ) is the usual choice, −60 to +220 °C and assessed to ISO 10993. Send your biocompatibility standard reference and sterilisation method — autoclave, gamma or ethylene oxide — and we will confirm the compound and what the supplier can evidence.
Can you support clean-room packaging?
Clean-room-compatible handling and packaging is available on request. Confirm the class and the bagging requirement with your enquiry so we can quote it — it is a per-order arrangement rather than a standing capability.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes — we are a volume manufacturer. Margo produces in bulk against OEM schedules rather than in small lots. Minimum run is 10,000 pieces per part number, per compound, and on larger or more complex parts the minimum is quoted against the part, because the economics are set by tooling and cure time rather than by piece count. Prototype and first-article lots sit outside the minimum and are quoted separately, with a prototype within 48 to 72 hours of an approved drawing.
Can you produce to our validated drawing revision?
Yes. Every component is produced against a controlled drawing revision with no substitutions without approval, and the revision is recorded on the despatch documentation. A change to compound, hardness or geometry is quoted and approved as a change, never made silently.
Ready to specify medical components from the Nashik plant?
Send the drawing, an existing part, or the instrument make and model — with the fluid contacted, the sterilisation method and your biocompatibility standard reference. Our engineering team responds within 48 hours with a compound recommendation, dimensional confirmation and a quotation, and confirms what the compound supplier can evidence.
Margo Rubber Products holds ISO 9001:2015 certification only. We do not hold ISO 13485 certification or FDA registration, and we make no medical-device regulatory claim. Biocompatible silicone is offered as a moulding capability; regulatory responsibility for the finished device remains with the manufacturer.
