OEM COMPONENT SUPPLIER · DRAWING-MATCHED PRODUCTION

Rubber Components for Electrical and Electronics, Manufactured in India

Sealing and insulating rubber for enclosures, connectors and cable management, moulded to your drawing at our ISO 9001:2015 facility in Nashik, India.

COMPONENTS WE SUPPLY FOR ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS

Engineered to Spec, Not to Catalogue

We don’t stock generic parts. Each component is produced against your drawing or an OEM sample — compound, hardness and geometry matched to the enclosure and its service environment rather than picked from a catalogue.

Grommets

Cable and conduit pass-through seals, panel hole plugs and 3-pin hole pads

  • Panel hole and thickness to drawing
  • Open, blind and multi-hole
  • Flame-retardant compounds on request
  • 3-pin hole pads available

WHERE OUR COMPONENTS ARE USED

Built into electrical assemblies.

Switchgear & distribution

Enclosure gaskets and moulded insulator covers produced to your drawing. The gasket is one input to your enclosure’s ingress test; the dielectric specification comes from the compound datasheet or from testing you commission.

Cable management

Grommets and pass-through seals sized to your panel thickness and cable diameter, in open, blind, multi-hole and bulkhead configurations.

Enclosures & panels

Door and lid gaskets, extruded seal profiles and foam tape, in compounds selected for compression set performance over long service intervals.

Electronic equipment

Anti-vibration mounts and isolation pads protecting sensitive assemblies from mechanical shock.

BUILT FOR ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS CONDITIONS

Sealing that protects what it encloses.

Electrical assemblies fail at their seals. Compound and geometry are selected for ingress performance and long-term compression set rather than initial fit alone — a gasket that seals on the bench and relaxes in year three has failed.

Sealing force retention

Gasket profiles and compounds chosen to hold their sealing force over years of service, not just at first assembly. Compression set measured to ASTM D395 Method B, which we run in-house — it is the number that predicts whether the enclosure still seals in year five.

Thermal stability

Silicone from −60 to +220 °C for elevated-temperature enclosures, retaining flexibility across the range. EPDM −40 to +140 °C where the enclosure is weather-exposed rather than hot.

Dust & contaminant sealing

Sealed geometries for enclosures exposed to particulate, moisture and industrial atmospheres. The gasket is one input to your enclosure’s IEC 60529 test; the rating belongs to the assembly.

Shock & vibration

Isolation mounts and pads that protect sensitive assemblies from mechanical shock. Isolation only begins above about 1.4 times the system natural frequency, so the mount is sized to the mass it carries.

CUSTOM ENGINEERING

We match your enclosure spec, not the other way around.

Margo operates dedicated tooling capability for custom rubber components. Send us your OEM drawing, an existing part, or the equipment make and model — we reverse-engineer and produce to your specification.

  • OEM drawing and sample matching
  • Custom mould tooling in-house
  • Compound selection by application

QUALITY & CERTIFICATION

Every batch. Every shipment.

Margo Rubber Products holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, certificate 09111526A, issued by Integral Certification Ltd and valid to 21 February 2027. Our quality management system covers incoming raw material inspection, in-process control and outgoing batch documentation.

ISO 9001:2015

Certified quality management covering all production and inspection processes. Certificate 09111526A, Integral Certification Ltd. Documentation available on request.

OEM compliance

Every component produced against a controlled drawing revision. No substitutions without approval.

Batch traceability

Raw material certificates and batch records retained per shipment. Available to electrical buyers on request.

EXPORT SUPPLY

Direct supply from Nashik to electrical manufacturers.

Margo Rubber Products exports sealing and insulating components directly to switchgear, panel and electronic equipment manufacturers across our active markets, with full export documentation managed from Nashik.

Components are produced against your controlled drawing revision, with pre-production sample approval before volume release — and the revision is recorded on the despatch documentation.

Buyers are responsible for confirming import duties and compliance requirements applicable to their equipment and market. Conformity marking of the finished assembly — CE, UKCA or a national scheme — is the equipment manufacturer’s obligation, not the component supplier’s. We supply the material certificates, compound datasheets and origin documentation your technical file needs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions from electrical buyers.

Can you supply flame-retardant compounds?

Yes, on request — neoprene is the family we reach for, and formulated grades can be specified against a flammability rating. Send your standard reference with the enquiry — UL 94, IEC 60695 or your own OEM specification — and we will confirm what the compound supplier can evidence. We do not hold a flammability listing ourselves.

Which compound suits enclosure gaskets?

Silicone, −60 to +220 °C, for elevated temperature and the widest service range. EPDM, −40 to +140 °C, for weather-exposed enclosures — and it is the better choice outdoors, because ozone attack is what ends most exterior seals. Neoprene where flame retardancy is specified. Selection is driven by temperature, exposure and the compression set your design allows.

Do you make grommets to non-standard panel thicknesses?

Yes. Grommets are specified by panel hole diameter, panel thickness and groove width, and produced against your drawing. The groove width is your panel thickness — measure the sheet, not the hole — and the bore is set by the cable or conduit passing through.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Yes — we are a volume manufacturer. Margo produces in bulk against OEM schedules rather than in small lots. Minimum run is 10,000 pieces per part number, per compound, and on larger or more complex parts the minimum is quoted against the part. Prototype and first-article lots sit outside the minimum and are quoted separately, with a prototype within 48 to 72 hours of an approved drawing. Existing tooling ships in three to four weeks ex-works Nashik, or two weeks express where we have confirmed capacity.

Can you match an existing part we currently buy?

Yes. Send a physical sample and we will produce a drawing, confirm compound selection and quote tooling where required. Tell us how the current part fails if it does — whether it hardens, splits or takes a set — because that decides the compound more reliably than the sample does.

What certifications does Margo hold?

Margo Rubber Products holds ISO 9001:2015, certificate 09111526A, issued by Integral Certification Ltd and valid to 21 February 2027. We are actively upgrading our quality management system to IATF 16949:2016, with certification targeted by the end of 2026, and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification targeted for 2027. Material test reports and batch certificates are issued with every shipment.
