Rubber seals and gaskets for food, beverage and pharma process equipment
For dairy, brewery, bottling and food-machinery builders, and for pharma and biotech process equipment that never touches a patient. Clamp gaskets, O-rings, valve seats, door seals, bellows and tubing, each moulded or extruded to your drawing at our plant in Vilholi, Nashik. Margo supplies 13 industries from 16 product lines; this page lists the parts process-line builders ask us for.
Key facts
Food, beverage and pharma process seals are the gaskets, O-rings, valve seats and door seals on lines that are opened and cleaned often. Margo Rubber moulds and extrudes them to the equipment builder’s drawing in Vilholi, Nashik, in EPDM, silicone, NBR or FKM.
Margo Rubber’s pharma and biotech work is process equipment only: it does not make patient-contact parts. For a food or pharma line, the buyer names the product, the temperature and the cleaning cycle, and Margo picks the compound for that duty; it holds no food-contact certificate.
For food and pharma lines, Margo Rubber uses EPDM (−40 to +140 °C) for hot water, steam and CIP, silicone (−60 to +200 °C) for dry oven heat, NBR for fats and oils, and FKM (−20 to +250 °C) for fats, oils and hot acid cleaners, not for steam or hot caustic.
02 · COMPONENTS
Made to your drawing, not picked from a catalogue
We don’t hold generic stock. Each part is made against your drawing or an OEM sample, in the compound your product, temperature and cleaning cycle call for.
Hygienic line connections · 5 parts

Sanitary tri-clamp (ferrule) gaskets
Send the ferrule size to DIN 32676 or ISO 2852 on the drawing. Sizing only; no material approval implied.

O-rings
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

PTFE-encapsulated O-rings
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Moulded flange gaskets
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Valve seats
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.
Process machinery · 6 parts

Rotary shaft seals
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Bellows
Send the ID at each end, free and compressed length, stroke and convolution count.

Dust boots & covers
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Rubber-to-metal bonded parts
Send the metal insert drawing (or supplied inserts), the compound and the bond test.

Oven, cold-room & containment-door seals
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Grommets
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.
Cord, sponge & tubing · 3 parts

Solid cord
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Sponge seals
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.

Silicone tubing & sleeving
Extruded to your bore and wall. Send the drawing, the medium and the working temperature.
Conveying & handling · 1 part

Conveyor skirting (cut from sheet)
Send the drawing (or a sample), the medium and the working temperature.
Pharma & biotech process (non-patient): Pharma and biotech process equipment takes the same parts listed above: clamp gaskets, O-rings, door seals, bellows and cord. We make no patient-contact parts.
03 · APPLICATIONS
Where these parts go on a process line
Dairy and milk processing
Clamp gaskets and O-rings on pipework that is opened and cleaned every shift.
Breweries and bottling
Valve seats, shaft seals and filler-head O-rings on lines that run hot and wet.
Food machinery and ovens
Door seals, cord and silicone tubing where the heat is dry and steady.
Cold rooms
Door gaskets and sponge seals that still close tight at sub-zero temperatures.
Pharma process skids and containment
Clamp gaskets, door seals and bellows on process equipment, never on a patient.
04 · COMPOUND
Pick the compound for the cleaning cycle, not just the product
A food-line seal often fails in the wash, not in the product. Send the CIP chemistry and temperature along with the product.
05 · QUALITY
Every batch. Every shipment.
Every consignment ships with a material test report, a dimensional inspection sheet and a certificate of conformance. Hardness, tensile and elongation (ASTM D412), density, compression set (ASTM D395 Method B), heat ageing, ozone resistance, fluid swell and low-temperature tests run in our own lab, and cure curves run on our own ODR rheometer. PPAP is available on request. RoHS declarations are issued for all compounds.
ISO 9001:2015
Certificate 09111526A, Integral Certification Ltd. Scope: moulded rubber components; extruded and sheet-cut parts are outside it.
DIN 32676 / ISO 2852 / ASME BPE
Clamp-ferrule dimensions. They are not interchangeable in every size, so name the one on your drawing.
Compound choice
Set by your product, temperature and cleaning cycle. We hold no food-contact certificate.
06 · FAQ
Questions Food, Beverage & Pharma buyers ask us
Do you stock tri-clamp gaskets?
No stock range. We mould each size to your ferrule standard and drawing.
Which clamp standard should I put on the drawing?
The one your ferrules were made to: DIN 32676, ISO 2852 or ASME BPE. The sizes do not all match across the three, and a gasket cut for one can sit proud or short in another.
Are your compounds suitable for food contact?
We hold no food-contact certificate for any compound, so food-contact compliance stays with your equipment approval. Tell us the product, temperature and cleaning cycle and we choose the compound for that duty.
Do you make patient-contact parts?
No. Our pharma work is process equipment only.
What is the minimum order for food and pharma process seals?
There is no fixed number. The minimum is set by part size and tooling, and we quote it with the part. Send the drawing and your annual volume and you get both figures in one reply. Prototype and first-article lots sit outside the minimum.
Ready to specify components from the Nashik plant?
Send the drawing, an existing part, or the equipment make and model, with the product, the cleaning cycle, the service temperature and your annual volume. Our engineering team replies within 48 hours with a compound and hardness recommendation, tooling status and a quotation.
